In its first 18 months, the Albanese Government has made a range of positive climate commitments, while also approving or supporting sixteen new coal and gas export projects. New ACF analysis shows these projects would generate more than seven times the amount of climate pollution that the government’s policies will save.
The Albanese Government was elected on a strong climate mandate. It’s time for Labor and Climate Change Minister Bowen to ensure Australia’s climate pollution is decreasing, and safeguard our communities and wildlife from extreme heat, floods, fires and droughts.
