Palm cockatoos are pretty incredible birds.
To woo lady palm cockatoos, males make drumsticks from branches and seed pods and beat their own rhythms while whooping and flapping their wings. Their rosy cheeks glow vibrant red when they’re excited.
But bulldozers are making them vulnerable to extinction. This cannot go on.

We MUST make stronger environmental laws!!! We are damaging our world daily and we need to look after it!!! We need to leave beauty for future generations to appreciate in life, not in books!!!
Just remember that we depend on the diversity of wildlife, not only for the beauty but really for the functioning of the world, there are so many details that we don’t know of that make it all function so well, it is always a bad idea to tamper with it.
Palm cockatoos are truly unique creatures. It is our guardianship responsibility to protect wildlife, fauna and their habitat. Please do not let more extinctions to occur due to apathy. It is essential that before granting logging permits Government agents firstly consult with environmental experts in order to assess possible risks to native birds and animals living in he area.
We need stronger environmental laws to protect beautiful native Australian animals. Please make sure that our laws protect our native fauna and flora from endangerment, extinction, and destruction.
Let’s work together to stop the needless extinction of our amazing fauna, so that future generations can marvel at their beauty. Also, so that nature can work at its optimum and eco systems can thrive.
Many pollies, especially the ironically-named “Conservatives”, regrettably care significantly more about corporate balance sheets & political hegemony than preserving our vital ecosystems & biosphere. We need stronger environmental laws for industry.
Humans are invading their homes, but they can’t speak up and can’t stop them. We have laws to protect humans, human lives, freedom. Why animals are any different? They deserve protection as much as we do! Please, make sure that our laws protect these innocent creatures and lets kill “money rule the world” habits!
Destruction of our environment has to STOP! Humans don’t have the right to destroy everything for money. Please take a stand and protect our unique animals, birds and everything else that makes up the natural world before it is all gone forever.
We need stronger environmental laws because they are failing to protect Australia’s beautiful biodiversity. The onus is on the government to make changes!

Creatures other than humans have families, feelings & needs. Save their environment, it benefits us too.
