Nowadays, these sleek little critters are legless – but they weren’t always. Through evolution, their front legs disappeared completely and their back legs ended up just small scaly protrusions. But they can still jump 30 centimetres into the air!
But Legless Lizards can’t outrun the destruction of their habitat.

For everyone to live a healthy and sustainable life, we need to protect those that aren’t necessarily seen. As a amateau herpetology Delma’s are very close to my heart as they are unique and hard to find. Sadly, each year they are harder and harder to find.
Please protect those that can’t help themselves.
Thanks.
I have always had a love and respect for the legless species. Please commit to ensuing its survival into the long-term future
Humans forget they are part of the natural environment and fellow creatures should be protected. They have as much right to this earth as we do.

if we don’t act now , it will be too late. are we going to lose all of earths beautiful creatures.? for money? money wont buy them back, or clean water, or a clean environment for that matter.
Please stop habitat destruction so that these little creatures won’t become extinct. Stronger environmental laws can prevent this from happening.
Once a animal becomes extinct, you can’t bring them back. We need to protect them and save them before it’s too late!
Australia is destroying its fauna and flora at an alarming rate with habitat vanishing every day from clearing and mining. Our reputation is in tatters and we have too many loopholes in our environment laws to save our precious wildlife. We only have one planet to live on and we must treat all creatures and plants with respect as they are all part of our overall ecosystem that allows to live here. Please ask for tighter environmental laws that can’t be dismissed by coal mining companies.
Legless lizards need love too ya know
Even if you don’t have legs you should be protected. All creatures help our environment in many ways we mere humans still don’t fully understand always. So we humans need to put in place stronger environmental laws
