Post on Siemens' Facebook page! Then comment here to let us know you've taken action.

Now will you amplify your impact by posting on their Facebook page?

Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.

Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)

Tips for your Facebook comment:

  • Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
  • Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
  • Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet

You can also click ‘like’ on other people’s comments to show your support.

I don’t support this decision please reconsider. The Australian and global climate do not need further stress by facilitating further coal mining in Queensland. ☹️

I left a long comment about how their branding, bottom line and investors happiness will be detrimentally affected if they continue to support Adani.

I am a 65 year old Australian grandmother strongly opposed to coal burning because of the rising temperatures and severe weather events across the globe. We are all experiencing a climate crisis. Many Australians havs worked very hard to halt the progress of this mine. We do not support the burning of fossil fuels n o r the extraordinary amount of water, (our water, water that belongs to all Australians) sold to Adani. We are all terrified of the bushfires, drought and heatwaves predicted for tbis summer which threatens the ecosystems of our country – a country that continues to suffer from growing desertification.
We don’t want this massive coal . Other companies have heard us, reasoned with the evidence we presented and declined to work for the Adani Carichael mine. Please join them and act for a sustainable climate future for all Australians.

Yours sincerely,
Brenda Hawke

This is not the end. You have betrayed the people. Stop Adani

Schade!
Please do not support the proposed and disastrous Adani coal mining venture in Australia.
Please do your research on the immediate and long-term damage to scarce water resources in Queensland and the irreparable harm this will cause to the Australian and our global environment.
Grüße,
Celia Andrews

Hi, You no doubt have seen on the global news that Australia is experienceing an unprecidented climate catastrophe. Water that has always been there for agriculture, businesses run mostly by family farms, is for the first time ever dried up rendering the land for production, useless. Then to add insult to injury, bush fires of the intensity and magnitude never seen before are dominating most of the area of several states of bushland and nearby communities with a loss of nearly 1000 homes plus loss of animals and business structures.
At a time when our rivers and water holes are running dry, Adani is pushing through to get permission to run a mine that will use more water than what would save many times over our land and people’s lives. To add to this, the only income area of tourism on the coast that provides jobs, is the Great Barrier Reef which experts have shown will be adversely affected by this mine. We appeal to your sense of decency and good management to override the decsion by your Australian office to provide signals for the Adani planned railway. Many thanks.

Most Australians do not want this coal mine to go ahead.
All Young Australians don’t want this coal mine to go ahead.

The Scientific Evidence links the extraction and use of coal to increased production of dangerous greenhouse gases. Gases that increase the effects of rising global temperatures and seas, as ice sheets and glaciers melt.

Your company, will be Remembered as an Explicit Contributor to the gross effects of rising global temperatures that are impacting on all Australians, in all our cities and our regions. This country is great! You, have the ability and responsibility to make good choices. Please do.

Stop your involvement in the Adani coal mine now.
Mark 2019-12-12 18:13:51 +1100
I can’t believe that the Siemens brand is supporting the destructive Adani Mine in Australia raping or beautiful country, poisoning or Great Barrier Reef and taking our jobs in the tourism industry. Very disappointing

Please don’t fuel the climate crisis by helping Adani.
Change your mind and pull out of this madening deal.

Please!

Pretty disgusted that you are enabling this mine. It is a global catastrophe. You are clearly putting profits ahead of your social responsibility. Have you not noticed the fires in Australia? The Adani mine will make this worse. They are also going to take billions of litres of water out of local aquifers and destroy vast swathes of habitat critical to endangered species. At a time of severe drought and massive habitat loss due to the catastrophic fires, to enable this mine is simply criminal. I hope you can reconsider this terrible decision.
Gordon 2019-12-12 18:12:16 +1100
Adani are environmental vandals and should be prosecuted. Does Siemens identify as environmental vandals or saviours?

Dear Mr Kaeser

I realise that your role in the Siemens company his to deliver maximum value to your shareholders.
I realise too that you are not just an individual but a board, shareholders and employees.
Your brand has a reputation for high quality and your website portrays a company with a strong sense of your corporate climate responsibility. You are quoted there saying: “Committing to cutting our global carbon footprint is not only prudent – it’s profitable.”
I was so disappointed to hear that your company signed, after so many others refused to, the contract with Adani to install it’s rail signalling.
I’m sure you’re aware of the significance of your actions with respect to the Climate Emergency and encourage you to put the global security and your company’s brand reputation ahead of it’s profits.

Yours sincerely,
Sallie Moffatt

Our government is not listening to us- most Australians don’t want the Adani mine to go ahead because of the danger it will put us in- so we are appealing directly to you to retract your deal with Adani- for our children’s future!

Please overturn the decision to work on Adani. Adani by their own admission threatens Australia’s water basin and jeopardises our farmers access to water during a terrible drought. We need Siemens to protect our farmers. Please stand with Australians and rule out working on Adani.

Dear Sir,
Please refrain. The effect by association will have its ramifications. Seen and unseen. We need moral and responsible companies to prove themselves. Seize the opportunity to shine. Be inspired, be luminaries against poor judgement.

I can’t believe that Siemens is prepared to work with Adani on his climate wrecking project!

Booooo to you Siemens! Adani and Siemens now linked as companies who disregard the impacts of climate change. Siemens you could have made a better choice and walked away from Adani.
Siemens, profit before my grandchildren’s future. Booooooo

What a disgrace. Companies like Siemens should be leading the way and refuse to support such climate wrecking projects

My 7 year old is learning how to make good choices, are you Siemens? You are setting a very poor example getting involved with the likes of Adani. Stand up and do what’s right- stop Adani!
