Post on Siemens' Facebook page! Then comment here to let us know you've taken action.

Now will you amplify your impact by posting on their Facebook page?

Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.

Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)

Tips for your Facebook comment:

  • Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
  • Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
  • Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet

The present with 1.1 degrees of warming is now all too apparent. A future with 1.5 degrees of warming is still possible but not with ‘opening up’ and commencing coal mining in the Galilee Basin as intended by Adani. Not establishing the Adani mine is a moral imperative… instead this country and Siemens should move forward to a low carbon & then zero carbon future… It makes economic sense too – read ‘Super-Power, Australia’s low-carbon opportunity’ by Ross Garnaut. Withdraw your services – Siemens should become part of the future, not make money from a potentially catastrophic and doomed venture.

Siemens is a worldwide recognized company of high regard. Siemens Germany has very strong environmental policies and targets of carbon neutrality, yet Siemens Australia wants to actively go counter to the parent companies direction. Adani and its mine will increase carbon in the atmosphere and further increase climate change. Why you would want to trash your company name, and stated goals for climate action by aiding Adani beggars belief. Do the right thing, step away from Adani , if not for saving future generations, then for saving reputational damage.

Pleaded with them not to silly their reputation.

To support old, outdated polluting and negatively climate changing powerful Companies in a time where evidence is pointing to the direction of Renewables being both more environmentally secure abd cheaper for power sources….is astounding!

To support Renewables is both necessary to turn the tide around and shows the world that Siemens demonstrating Responsible Leadership gives permission for others to follow and gives hope to our children and young people left to navigate a better future for all. In a Climate Crisis, responsible management decisions are crucial. Responsible Actions will unite other Countries and Leaders such as David Attenborough, David Suzuki and Environmental Organisations not tied into Profit that drives unsustainable agendas.

I’m the name of humanity please do not work with Adani. Stop this madness, work on other good projects, not this one, I implore you.

Good Afternoon. Just a note to let you know that Queenslanders outside the mining industry and Australians from all walk of life, do not support the construction of the Adani Carmichael mine….with respect (abridged.)

I wrote: Siemens, please rule out working with Adani on their dangerous coal project! A company that wants to make “society more sustainable” should say no to projects that will damage our climate. I hope you will be a leader and do the right thing!

Left my comment! Siemens should definitely not help Adani build one of the largest expansions of coal mining on planet Earth. Let’s hope they make the right decision.
