Now will you amplify your impact by posting on their Facebook page?
Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.
Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)
Tips for your Facebook comment:
-
Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
-
Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
-
Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet

Divest from Siemens!! Yet another company who claims to be helping the efforts of reversing climate change, yet supports the mining of fossil fuels and the devastation of our land .
People around the world are having a huge awakening, and this is bringing a giant leap in the evolution of human consciousness. Signs of this awakening have been appearing for decades now. And there is a reason why we are all here at this time in history. Together we will create a totally different world, and you are an integral part of it.
Don’t go ahead with Adanis disastrous project!
Siemens can help prevent this mine.
Corrupt, Corrupt, Corrupt
Please stop working with Adani. There is nothing sustainable about coal and the mine means the continued oppression of Indigenous Australians. In addition to developing sources of energy which do not harm the environment, such as solar photovoltaic cells that are installed on buildings, European and Asian countries should mine the minerals that they need on their own territory instead of contributing to the destruction of natural ecosystems, extermination of plant and animal species and genocide against indigenous peoples in Australia, South and North America, Southeast Asia and Subsaharan Africa.
(Note: I left this comment a few days ago but came across this issue again and sent an e-mail to Siemens now).
Don’t support Adani, support the future of the world. It’s that simple Siemens!
Don’t make signals for climate criminals Adami. Learn from your mistakes in WW2
We do want Adani with it’s enviromental record .
Siemens can invest in the future for al to benefit, or invest in Adani and we all pay the climate change price. Siemens have a serious choice to make.
‘Siemens is actively driving decarbonization across many industries.’ How Orwellian…‘War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength’
Shame on you Siemens… greed has won again but now more than ever people are taking notice and we’re standing up for the survival of our country. There is no justifiable explanation for your decision – you can tell yourselves whatever you want but the bottom line is you are contributing to the negative impacts of climate change, to the fires that are burning out of control in our country and are destroying our chances of a sustainable future. Shame on you @ in Australia
It is disgraceful when Australia is running out of water that Siemens has agreed to go Adani.Disgraceful that profit comes before the welfare of the people
I am very disappointed in your willingness to help Adani destroy our environment. Please reconsider and prioritise our environment over profit.
Pure act of VANDALISM on our Environment all for personal wealth of a few. All the money in the world CAN’T replace or repair the destruction YOUR DEAL WITH ADANI has just aggreed on. May you live long enough to see what YOUR handywork will do to our planet. How will you explain to you childrens children or future generations why You chose to STEAL THEIR FUTURE FRESH AIR OR WATER OR FOOD?…😰
I am extremely disappointed in Siemens Australia to have signed on to install the rail signalling for Adani’s climate-wrecking mine. I would have never expected Siemens to be so careless and disregard scientific research.
Australians are currently experiencing Climate change, suffering from the worst bush fires and smoke haze ever, the longest drought, towns running out of water. Businesses have to close because of fire alarms going off and the Sydney air is hazardous at such high smoke pollution levels. Tourists are cancelling their stay already. The Adani mine will even dig a trench through our World Heritage Great Barrier Reef. The $7 Billion Dollar Tourism industry is already and will suffer more. Without healthy environment we can also forget our economy.
The Australian people trust companies like Siemens to take responsible decisions, that don’t endanger our climate, our planet, our air, our environment, our economy and therefore the future of our children.
More than 61 major companies have ruled out working with Adani and most banks are not giving loans to Adani because of his climate wrecking coal projects, Adani’s bad track record on environmental protection and his constant lies, even to his own people.
Working on Adani’s climate-wrecking mine will crush your brand and reputation.
Please don’t become complicit in the destruction of our beautiful planet.
People, nature and wildlife are more important than financial profits. Humans need clean air, clean water and clean land for survival, not coal.
Siemens supports burning fossil fuel and has no regard for those who are suffering worldwide because of the impacts of climate change.
Dear ceo if siemans,
I hold it against your brand that you will build the rail for adani. There are betways fir a successful company such as yours to make money
Our environment is not replaceable
Joe Kaeser, Siemens
I hope you have a conscience and it keeps you awake at night. Just like the cigarette companies, you know what you are doing to our climate. You ignore the world’s scientists in order to make a buck or two, well a billion or more. I hope that like the cigarette companies you will be made accountable for the damage you are inflicting by your complicity on the world’s environment. You bastards! I hope your house perishes in a bushfire, that would be retribution, but not enough to bring back the homes of so many more who will perish and/or lose their whole life’s work while you rake it in without care for your country, your only world, or your fellow human beings. The Ultimate Betrayal.
Yours sincerely,
Ms Jesse H Rowan
