Post on Siemens' Facebook page! Then comment here to let us know you've taken action.

Now will you amplify your impact by posting on their Facebook page?

Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.

Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)

Tips for your Facebook comment:

  • Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
  • Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
  • Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet

You can also click ‘like’ on other people’s comments to show your support.

Our world has been built on fossil fuels such as thermal coal which has created our climate crisis, please put aside your short term money making venture for the sake of our grandkids!

Shame on you Siemens! In these dire times it is beholden on all to show some ethics and principles- your reputation is dust….which is all that will be left if Adani builds its appalling monstrous mine
Judith 2019-12-12 17:29:08 +1100
Stop helping adani, we Australians oppose this mining company as they are destroying our country’s biodiversity and nature. You have to stop this initiative Siemens are now signing up a bad deal for the future reputation as a responsible caring enterprise. The world will know this.

At a time when the world is facing the realities of climate change it is shameful Siemens would work with Adani. I ask Siemens to withdraw from the Adani project

Please reconsider the appalling decision to provide rail signalling to Adani in Australia. Drought, bushfires, burning houses, dying animals, and illegal drilling and release of contaminated water into the waters of the Great Barrier Reef!! your company will also be contaminated by this disastrous environmental project for years to come if it goes ahead. please reconsidr
Nikki 2019-12-12 17:27:56 +1100
Please, please reverse this decision. Please don’t associate your company with these actions that have terrible consequences, at a time when we all need to be doing everything we can to stop climate change.

We see the ice melting across Greenland; we see the seas rising and threatening our pacific neighbours; we see horrific bushfires burning out of control, before summer has even started; we need to be doing everything we can to stop the effects getting worse!

It’s not against Adani personally – if they were mining steel or other resources needed for renewables, that would be fantastic.

But coal???

Please, please reverse this decision. There is money to be made and jobs to be created from building infrastructure for renewables and supplying the resources to do so. On the other hand, if we don’t all act and stop burning fossil fuels, the ability to make money at all is going to be very short term…

Everything depends on the environment!

Siemens,
Shame on your decision to join Adani on this destructive project.
No consideration for our climate or land.
No consideration for our & future generations.
You will be blamed now & in the future.
Still time to revoke your BAD decision.
Jerry 2019-12-12 17:25:47 +1100
I’ve had a vague respect for Siemens in the past. As a Science based engineering firm you must know Anthropogenic Global Warming is real. You know that engaging with Adani goes exactly opposite to the aims you claim above.
I will dies of old age comfortably sometime in the next thirty years but with a nagging sense I didn’t do enough to save Homo sapiens.
Please be amongst those I have to fight with rather than against.

Please remember that Siemens will now be associated with these climate wreckers and hence from now on known as an enabler of climate vandalism on a grand scale. People will not forget your participation in this disastrous project! No amount of green-washing will be able to hide this fact. Please reconsider your participation in this project.

What is your excuse ?
Ask your own scientists whether they believe or deny ?
Naked Greed……ugly and irresponsible!

You have joined hands with a corrupt corporation (Adani) and a corrupt, USA style cult indoctrinated federal government to destroy our country. I am letting my corporate & business clients know of your malevolent alignment and Siemens disregard for Australia and Australians. We shall NOT forget!

Dear Mr Kaesar

Australia is burning and drying up because of global warming.
The whole world is facing a catastrophe.

I am a grandparent and I do not want a future which will be subject to climate extremes, global insecurity and extinction of massive amounts of life as we know it.

And yet your company is helping develop a massive carbon polluting coal mine which will only accelerate the catastrophe.

For the sake of the planet please withdraw all support for Adani immediately

It appears that Siemens prefer a dollar in the hand today over anyone being able to draw breath in the future. Siemens has decided to support Adani Australia, a company with a proven and thoroughly dishonest record and a major contributor to global warming.

Digging and burning coal is the biggest driver of climate damage. And with bushfires, drought and heatwaves, Australians are feeling the damage, daily.
Karen 2019-12-12 17:16:53 +1100
Dr Joe Kaeser,
I believe the decision to work with the Adani Mine is shameful for your company and in blatant disregard to the environmental and social issues this project will cause.

Your money over sense decision is appalling and going forward I will no longer consider your products and services.

Yours sincerely,
Chris 2019-12-12 17:16:40 +1100
Supporting Adani by supporting their rail build equates to supporting climate change. We need to make a stand to prevent further burning of coal so we have a future. Just take a look at The impact of drought and fires in Australia to see the impact of climate change. Is that was Siemens wants to associate with?? Please reconsider!
