Now will you amplify your impact by posting on their Facebook page?
Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.
Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)
Tips for your Facebook comment:
-
Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
-
Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
-
Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet

How dare you Germans in Siemens who were the type of people who suppported Hitler’s Nazi Party to kill six million Jews now help Adani to kill millions of Australians by burning coal that causes global warming fires that will kill millions
You even have a name like the Kaiser who started WW1 that killed 20 million
A message to Joe Kaeser. Just DON’T DO IT! (aiding the Adani mine) This is not the right thing to do in our current warming crisis.
Siemens your reputation in Australia is ruined.
Drive for reduction of co2 really? By assisting Adani? Well that’s clearly a lie. I also am divesting.
I am not on Facebook but emailed them.
Please do not work with Adani! We want a clean world for our granchildren, and Adani’s mine will have a huge negative impact.
DISPICABLE – you cannot eat money! please for the sake of our children do not get involved in this dirty project
So, assisting the development of a major coal mine and telling us your environmentally friendly at the same time: good plan. Why don’t you just paint all the coal green.
I am dumbfounded that a company boasting: “Practicing sustainability – in the interest of future generations” could even consider supporting the Adani Mine!
Are you not aware that the burning of coal contributes to global warming? So what do you mean by “in the interest of future generations”? Your decision is inexplicable. Kindly explain!
Seimens CEO,
Joe Kaeser,
The Galilee Basin – where Adani will build its mine – is one of the world’s largest proposed coal mining expansions. Digging and burning coal is the biggest driver of climate damage. And with bushfires, drought and heatwaves, Australians are feeling the damage, daily.
This mine proposes to use vital water from the Great Artesian Basin, vital water that is used in the farming and grazing industries, vital water to feed us, we can’t eat coal …
Stopping this mine, and scaling down the use of Fossil Fuels will help make a world where people, nature and wildlife come first.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Brady
If Siemens Australia is focused on diminishing a good reputation; you have picked the perfect Customer in Adani. Adani’s history is littered with episodes of destruction, corruption and disregard for governance. Perfect choice if you are wanting to put the brand Siemens in disrepute.
C’mon Joe,
We’re borrowing this earth 🌍 The only Planet to Support Human Life from younger Generations,
For the Sake of your Kids Let’s Not Stuff it up!
Ich habe gehort das deine Firma in Australien mit Adani arbeiten wird. Nicht Gut. Meine Firma und ich personnlich wirden jetzt niemals wieder Siemens benutzen. I will also ensure all the German environmental groups are made aware that your company so flagrantly supports a project single handedly likely to be the worst environmental project on the planet. Poor form.
Your shareholders too, many of whom believe your companies claims to be environmentally prudent, will be made aware of your flagrant disregard for your own stated corporate responsibilities.
Poor form
Ecocide will become law and you will be found to have aided and abbetted, and of enjoying the proceeds of, crime.
Don’t deal with dirty Adani
The Galilee Basin – where the Adani mine is being built – is one of the biggest proposed coal mine expansions in the world
Digging and burning coal is the biggest driver of emissions and fuels the climate crisis. Climate damage is here now and the people of Australia are suffering with unprecedented bushfires and smoke clouding our biggest city!
Working on Adani makes Siemens complicit in climate damage.
Don’t be an accomplice in this environmental vandalism
Something about helping Adani being wrong and bad.
I also asked them to stop lying about reducing emissions.
Stop supporting coal mining you idiots!
Greg Chidgey I have taken action. I emailed them and gave the a serve and told them why
