It’s time to make our democracy fair for everyone.
Sign the open letter calling on our elected representatives to work together to get big money out of our political system and put people and planet back in.
Open letter
To our elected representatives,
We call on you to work together to get big money out of our political system and put people back in.
This means:
- Banning large donations to political parties and candidates.
- Increasing the transparency of political donations, including real time reporting of donations.
- Limiting expenditure at election times so corporations can’t use their oversized wallets to drown out our voices.
- Creating an independent watchdog to investigate and stamp out corruption.
- Stronger lobbying regulation and greater transparency so we know who’s meeting with our elected representatives and why.

We are a Commnwealth and the system should ensure that the wealth be shared amongst all. No State capture by big self interested business
When money gets into politics, it gets corrupted. We need open and honest government that governs for all Australians and looks after the vulnerable.
Our democracy should operate in the best interests of community members, not corporate interests that are in conflict with the greater good.
For, by and of ALL the people. That;s the definition.
Big business is too concerned with profits and don’t care enough about our environment!
Please keep the money from big business out of politics as we are facing an existential threat!
We could all be living much better lives with wise and honest politicians who lead with integrity and not for personal gain.
Because democracy works for everyone NOT JUST FOR BIG BUSINESS and GREEDY POLITICIANS
For democracy to work well the people, not corporations money, must decide who is in Government and have the policies and projects the people want. In the current system the rich are more equal than the rest.
Super profits on resources!
Why we haven’t got one tells the story.
