ACF supporter Sharon France thinks this is an outrageous use of public money, so she's come up with the Australian People's Bank of Better Ideas.
Sharon recalls, "I literally woke up one morning thinking, 'If everyone could spend $1 billion on something beneficial, what would they fund? Certainly not a loan to a billionaire for a coal mine.'"

Use it for grants and funding for the renewables energy sector and evironmental rehabilitation projects.
Government should be spending the billion dollars on improving the rates of youth unemployment and getting kids that don’t enjoy school employed in areas where the are labour shortages. Improve our trade schools and encourage non academic kids to get the skills in trades that our country needs.

Shared food forests.
Get rid of animal cruelty in agriculture industry.
Introduce a 3/4 day working week. This would increase employment and double jobs.
Stop selling off Australia to other countries.
Stop Government employees getting a wage after they leave their work.
Stop fracking and invest in wind and sola
Give the pensioners a raise to cope with rising electricity costs
money spent on having registered nurses in aged care and places built for young people with disabilites instead of them being placed in nursing homes
Look after the great barrier reef as that attract mile of visitors and give local employment. Stop coalmines etc puming more co2 in the admosphere. Look after our country and nature. This will enable also future generations to live quality of life in this beautiful country. Just don’t stuff it up and give in to the coal lobby group who only looks after their own money. Have vision and also give future generations the Change to live on this beautiful country. Stop this coalmine ASAP. Right now!
better use of that huge amount: health, education, welfare for the many in need, helping refugees!
Please dont give Adani any of our money so he can destroy our beautiful Barrier Reef.It would be better spent on an Inland Rail.

Housing for the homeless; more refugees given asylum; commitment to get rid of goal and fund new energy solutions- that’s a good start.
How about kicking it into a renewable energy program. Would seem to be the intelligent way to go. Or even spending it on propping up our underfunded health system? Or helping struggling kids or families…..anything but lining the pockets of an already overfed buddy…..
I would put more money into renewables and research. Environment needs urgent attention.
Medicare. Aged care. Care for disabled. Better infrastructure around Brisbane.
Give it to the Australian people… tafe, rehabs, hospitals, schools, elderly…
Distribute ALL at-risk food 🍴 to the needy. Deliver to country regions, farmers, outback, to all struggling with debt, poverty & homelessness. Utilize the unemployed to distribute Australias billion dollars of wasted food to all in need.
