In the next few weeks, the Turnbull government could hand over $1 billion of public money to prop up Adani’s giant polluting megamine.
ACF supporter Sharon France thinks this is an outrageous use of public money, so she's come up with the Australian People's Bank of Better Ideas.
Sharon recalls, "I literally woke up one morning thinking, 'If everyone could spend $1 billion on something beneficial, what would they fund? Certainly not a loan to a billionaire for a coal mine.'"
We’re helping Sharon gather ideas for better ways to use $1 billion of public money.
When all your ideas are in, Sharon will send a report highlighting the most popular and creative suggestions to our Prime Minister.
Australians don't want their public money used to prop up Adani's giant coalmine. Our elected representatives have the choice to invest in public good, not private greed.
So what are your ideas for better ways to use $1 billion of public funds?

Spend the money on…. Preserving our Environment by: allowing scientists and environmental experienced people that have been promoting their videos for years or respect public speakers whom understand what’s important by Creating awareness . We need to develop user friendly ways eg.. disguarding all soft plastics…. polluting habits replaced with A 21st Century approach… We need to CHANGE….. It’s not about having or feeding personal material wealth, but sustaining NATURE with a changed attitude as this is what we need to embrace and invest in, if we are to have a chance for all small industries to survive which are the backbone of this beautiful country… Let’s not continue treating this land like a continual wasteland in western modern living which In reality continually causes negative outcomes…The education is out there and we need to take heed of the unimaginable to worsen…. For starters Coal Mining has no grounds for future investment in terms of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle option…. If we to agree To Coal Mining, Its agreeing to temporary jobs and back to square one, a vicious cycle so why aren’t we training for more skills in sciences…its no long term Benifit for reducing our deficit when in reality when your term is done and dusted to make room for the opposition to govern, when in fact all we are doing is voting in government will inherit our current and past problems and in fact worsens Messy outcomes. Who the hell feels safe these days When denied of Dession making business deals not revealed to the working class person, left too late to have a say beacuase it’s what politions and money tycoons say. We all need to take responsibility and stop and have a rethink the way we accept current living standards. Stop comparing us to other countries and just get on what’s important to us as a people…. Coal pollution, destroying the natural elements etc.. is this what we want to inherit year after year? We are punishing our Airways, waterways and anything ground level… The basic fundamentals of what the living flourishes On…..it all comes back to us, put up with new illnesses, poisoning every system as they and we are all linked… Get real and rethink… Cheers from an Aussie Batler…..
