Climate damage is here now yet billionaire polluters are lining up to dig and burn more coal. Coal corporation Adani want to dig one of the world’s biggest coal mines in Queensland.

But people don't want this mine. If the mine goes ahead it would create billions of tonnes of pollution, wreck our climate and spell the end for our Great Barrier Reef.

The Australian Conservation Foundation community challenged the federal government's approval of the mine in court. But our laws can’t stop the government from approving Australia’s biggest coal mine, even as the reef dies before our eyes.

Governments have a responsibility to create a future where our reef, communities and wildlife all thrive.

Federal Environment Minister, Melissa Price has the power to stop this mine. And our future depends on it. It's critical she hears from everyone who cares that we want our beautiful reef, not more polluting coal.

Sign the petition to tell the Federal Minister for Environment, Melissa Price to:

Reject Adani’s Carmichael coal mine and create strong new laws to protect our Great Barrier Reef.

This decison can not be allowed top go throuygh. The preservation to the ‘Worlds’ natural heritage is profoundly more valuable than any short sighted decison to mine for coal. This is an absurd decsion – the earth and the oceans should not be destroyed for corporate greed, the Australian goverment MUST do everything within it’s power to revoke thecourts decision… I impore Minister Frydenberg to reject Adani’s Carmichael coal mine and create strong new laws to protect our Great Barrier Reef.

What kind of advice are these people getting? Pure common sense tell you that this is a bad decision and not in keeping with maintaining a healthy reef, let alone the water ways and soil. Stop the insanity and stop the Adani Coal Mine!!
