Open letter
To our elected representatives,
We call on you to work together to get big money out of our political system and put people back in.
This means:
- Banning large donations to political parties and candidates.
- Increasing the transparency of political donations, including real time reporting of donations.
- Limiting expenditure at election times so corporations can’t use their oversized wallets to drown out our voices.
- Creating an independent watchdog to investigate and stamp out corruption.
- Stronger lobbying regulation and greater transparency so we know who’s meeting with our elected representatives and why.

This govt is so corrupt and working against Australian citizens. We must stop this now, or our country is doomed.
Donations lead top political compromise lets get rid of them.
Political donations should not be allowed period.
All federal MPs really need to go back and read the constitution and re-learn what being an elected representative entails. You are meant to serve the public, not yourselves. To myself and many others our elected politicians look to be serving only themselves.
Enough. Its just not working for the people of Australia any longer. Lets call it for what it is – a Government compliant to Corporate Lobbyists first, anything else second.
It’s definitely time to clean up this dysfunctional and corrupt government, once and for all! Give educated people a chance to be the true leaders that have a vision for this country. No government should be under the thumb of fossil fuel industries. That’s why I call those in the current government FOSSIL FOOLS!
