Post on Siemens' Facebook page! Then comment here to let us know you've taken action.

Now will you amplify your impact by posting on their Facebook page?

Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.

Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)

Tips for your Facebook comment:

  • Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
  • Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
  • Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet

Siemens. Profit before People to mine very poor quality coal from automated pits. Wreck our aquifers & Wildlife for a very small return.
Shame. Shame. Shame.

I’ve sent two emails over the past week, voicing my disgust at their support of Adani and asking then to rescind their decision. Siemens will forever be linked with habitat destruction and further global warming. Shameful – money for shareholders can be made by investing in new technologies.

I sent an email containing my total disgust and disbelief that Siemens did not instead do something of incredible portent to aid our Country and the World with the wealth of technology and expertise that they possess!! They will turn Australia into a laughing stock for the rest of the World !! Millions of $’s being sent for relief from fire damage- it’s a slap in the face for Overseas compassion, apart from not taking into account the destruction of Indigenous Lands, Native Fauna & Flora and particularly The Great Barrier Reef!!

Our governments won’t help us. There too busy taking kick backs from Adani.
I implore you, please, please stop this utter madness. Don’t be a party to this environmental genocide. Instead, be a pioneer in building a better future for generations to come

CEO Joe Kasaer,
Please change your bad decision. There are equivalent profits to be made supporting modern clean industries. Leave dirty old coal alone.

Dear Mr Kaeser,
I am an Australian citizen deeply concerned for the future welfare of the the planet and my country of Australia in particular. The climate crisis is real and observable for us in Australia, as you must know, with the unprecedented bushfires destroying our environment and wildlife, as well as causing many human deaths.
We cannot afford to continue coal-mining and coal usage on this planet. It is as simple as that. I urge you and your company to abandon the proposed contract with Adani for the good of the world environment. This coal project definitely should not go ahead. I urge you as a global citizen and Siemens to abandon this project for the good of future generations.

Yours sincerely,
Ken Harper

As a company respected in the medical field I hope you can also work towards the common good for future generations in not associating with the establishment of the Adani Coal mine in Queensland .

Dear Mr Käser,
I live in Australia and this can’t go on. Coal mining and burning of fossil fuel needs to come to an end. Have you been to Australia? It is the most unique continent with an amazing ecosystem. Now it is on fire.
Do you have children? What do you tell them what you are doing for work?
Coal is easy money but it is better to go the hard way and make the future green.
Thank you Joe.
