To our elected representatives,
We call on you to work together to get big money out of our political system and put people back in.
This means:
- Banning large donations to political parties and candidates.
- Increasing the transparency of political donations, including real time reporting of donations.
- Limiting expenditure at election times so corporations can’t use their oversized wallets to drown out our voices.
- Creating an independent watchdog to investigate and stamp out corruption.
- Stronger lobbying regulation and greater transparency so we know who’s meeting with our elected representatives and why.

Government is about the people, not the politicians. If you don’t make wise decisions now you won’t last. If you aren’t helping us, then leave.

Political parties shouldn’t be paid off by the BIG companies. They pay the money to get through unsustainable projects.
Why should Australia be among the dirtiest and most corrupt nations in the world? We have an appalling record on human rights and pollution—and we have the additional shame of explaining to friends abroad that we’re also governed by liars and suckers for bribes. Time to go, for Morrison & all his crew.
I don’t think that any donations should be allowed. Social media, print media and television would give ample opportunity to voice their plans.
If not, then a limit of $2000-5000 and a public list at the time of donation.

Australia’s citizens deserve better. No more big corporate donations and no more secrets. Corporations need to stop funding political campaigns and stop buying their way into development approvals.
Stop political bribery (donations) we need politicians to work for the best interests of the nation and planet and NOT serve the best interests of the fossil fuel industry
