Games postponed. Heat exhaustion. Poorer player performance. Younger players struggling in the hotter and more humid days. Less rainfall, harming pitch conditions. The cricket community is already feeling the effects of climate change

But there is hope in action.

When sporting organisations speak out on the big issues, Australians listen! After all, sport is part of our national identity. And climate damage is a challenge the sporting community can help to fix.

On Monday 2 December at 7pm AEDT you’re invited to join two international guests who’ll call in from the UK:

  • Leading sports journalist Tanya Aldred
  • Lead author of the hard-hitting report Hit for Six: the impact of climate change on cricket Dom Goggins

And Monash University communications expert Stephanie Hall, to hear their insights about the impact of climate change on cricket.

We'll also share with you ACF’s plan to push Cricket Australia, the national governing body for amateur and professional cricket, to be a leader in climate action – and the role that you can play to make this happen.

RSVP now.
