The Labor Party is still tying themselves in knots about Adani. They need to hear from us encouraging them to reject this polluting coal mine.
This is Labor’s Franklin River moment. This decision will go down in Australian environmental history. The ALP are so close, but we need to get them over the line.
Give them the courage and confidence to make the right decision!

I called Tanya Pilbersek, and spoke to Imogen in her office. She was most appreciative of my call. I made it clear that I would not support Labour if they supported Adani! She was actually in agreement with me that it could well be an environmental disaster, and said that many people had called and they were taking note. Ruth
Bill Shortens office. The individual whom I spoke with, confirmed that Bill Shorten will open the mine if it is viable. He took my name and said he will pass on my concerns. Absolutely corrupt.
Tanya Plibersek, Chris Bowen, Tony Burke, Mark Dreyfus, Anthony Albernese, Mark Butler, Bill Shorten left messages with polite staffers who promised to pass on my messages and thanked me for my call. I said that there was a huge amount of opposition to the mine and hoped the Labor party would oppose it. I also said I felt it was a great issue to differentiate the Labor party from the Liberal/Nat party.
I called Tanya ,she wasn’t available so I left the office in no doubt as to my disappoint in labor strategists and the downward drift in Labor ideals.

I phoned the offices of Tanya Plibersek, Tony Burke and Bill shorten and told them that I opposed the Adani mine in the strongest terms possible and urged them to oppose the mine in any way possible.
I left a message for Bill Shorten to please speak out against the mine
I tried to phone Butler’s office but his phone was engaged… maybe everyone else is trying Butler too.
He told me Labor is not a cabinet, if I want to influence Cabinet I need to call the government. I felt uneducated. I said I don’t often call politicians, and I may have used the wrong word, but I felt it was worthwhile asking Mr Shorten not to support the Adani mine. He said of course it was worth calling, and he would pass it on. He said there was no federal meeting today… maybe the Queensland Cabinet?
Spoke to the staff of Tanya Plibersek, Chris Bowen and Bill Shorten. I introduced myself and gave my support for the Party’s rejection of the Adani mine and investment in renewables instead
I called and spoke to staffers in Tanya, Mark Deryfus and Antony’s Offices expressing my strong opposition to the Adani proposal and urged them to revoke Adani’s permits and stop this mine. Mark Butler’s office didn’t pick up 😔

didn’t get to speak to bill But the staffer was sympathetic and assured me he wil pass the message on.
I called Tanya Plibersek’s office and told the receptionist if Labor support Adani, I will never vote for the party again. I also said that I am in my 60s and have always voted Labor.
Left a message for Tanya saying that the Adani proposal is not in the best interests of Australia either economically or environmentally.
I called Tony Burke and Tanya Plibersek’s offices, relayed my message encourgaing Labor to oppose the mine – for the sake of our children
Bill Shorten ..spoke to a staffer who said he’s pass on my message that I was in total opposition to the Adani mine and that I was horrified that Shorten and his party were considering supporting the mine.
I rang Tony Burke – left him a message about how much I want Labor to stop this mine for my kids and the future of our planet.
I’ve called Tanya Plibersek’s office and I spoke to a staffer. I asked them to leave a message for her and encouraged her to make the right choice – to stop the Adani mine. And make a clear public statement on this. The movement against the mine is very active and well organised and this issue will not go away. Her care for future generations will be much appreciated. Public polls show that people are against the mine and know that coal is over. A strong position will have public support.
