Walkable streets and frequent and reliable public transport are key ingredients in sustainable transport and cities.

What roles do our verge gardens and street trees play in making that happen?

How does the design of a verge garden and which plants you choose affect people walking or riding?

Come along and join the discussion.

Meeting Format:

  • Brief updates on the project – what’s changed, what gardens have been planted.
  • Discussion: What have verge gardens got to do with active transport (walking, cycling, public transport)
  • Q&A, general discussion

Afternoon tea and coffee will be provided.
