VIC ACF Community groups - 2019 Summer Training Day

This is our first ACF Community training day for 2019!

Come along to meet other groups, get the tools and skills to 'tune up' your ACF Community group, and learn best practice for the core tactics of the federal election campaign.

Topics covered:

Facilitation skills

• How to facilitate effective group meetings
• How to facilitate trainings for other volunteers

Recruitment skills

• Relational meetings, or one-on-one conversations
• Volunteer leadership identification and development

Media and Social Media skills

• How to write a good media release
• How to use Facebook to supercharge your events

We'll provide lunch and snacks, and there'll be time to reconnect and get to know each other better too.

We are aiming for 2-3 core volunteers from each group to attend. So please make sure that other core members of your ACF Community group are invited!
