Safe, healthy communities depend on a healthy planet. Let’s get on with the climate solutions that are here, now, and ready to scale in Australia.

Sign the People's Voice for climate action!

We're working with people from all walks of life to capture powerful stories about why people want the Australian Government to act, and show just how many of us care.

Together, we urge all Members and Senators in the Australian Parliament to:

  • Power our communities and transport with clean energy. Replace coal and gas with renewable energy in the next decade.
  • Send our sunshine around the world with clean energy exports like green hydrogen, steel and aluminium.
  • Save our big backyard. Protect and restore our forests, wetlands and mangroves for our climate and for the animals that call them home.

Climate change is the single greatest threat to this planet and our people. Unless politicians start to take their responsibility to put the interests of their constituents first we are doomed. Act now for the sake of my children and grandchildren, I beg you!

Apart from expecting our government to do something, what can we do locally as individuals? Start cycling to shops & visit friends? Stop buying packaged food? Act locally think globally.

Parents have an obligation to protect our children from harm. Climate change has the potential to cause untold harm to our children. Climate action taken now creates great hope and opportunity for our children. Climate action matters to me because I love my kids. It should matter to you too.

I’m scared! The latest IPCC report says we need to get to zero emissions in 15 years to limit climate change. We are going to need fast, smart, co-ordinated action to achieve that.

We need to act on climate change so that the world is safer from bushfires and floods. Also to make the environment healthier for all humans and animals.

Our amazing planet, and all beings drawing sustenance from it, is seriously threatened by climate change. We are seeing and feeling the impacts of climate change now just as the scientists said we would. If we don’t all take meaningful action, right now, our social, economic and environmental systems will collapse. Why can’t we offer our amazing youth and future generations something better?

The time has come for us to take climate change seriously and act now to make the future safe for our children and grandchildren. Climate change is no longer a political problem but an ethical one: do you ignore your responsibility to future generations or do you do something? There is still time to make this beautiful earth a safer and healthier home for all life on the planet.

Because I am tired to hear from our leader that Australia’s output towards climate change is minimal. When we are the 4th biggest exporter of coal in the World. We need to act now..especially after – our bush fires 2019-2020, the floods 2020,,, the pandemic.. and IPCC report!!!

Our planet is such a beautiful and precious thing, and it’s disappointing to see it threatened by climate damage. I want our leaders to be bold and brave and join the community who are already speaking up to protect nature and climate.

We have a national extinction crises. Our beautiful native iconic animals such as the koala and platypus are on the verge of extinction. I want our governments and business to act now, to ensure we leave a legacy for future generations.

Climate action threatens everything that we have: a beautiful planet, our livelihood on it and our quality of life.

Migrating to Australia was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life because I feel nature is intertwined with our day to day life here. The beautiful parks in the inner city enable us to connect with nature in such a simple and easy way. When you drive out into the suburbs, you can see green trees and chirping birds greeting you when you walk about.

All of these will be taken away and our lives reduced only to survival on a day to day basis. Not exactly a future I look forward to.
