Sign the People's Voice for climate action

Safe, healthy communities depend on a healthy planet. Let’s get on with the climate solutions that are here, now, and ready to scale in Australia.

Sign the People's Voice for climate action!

We're working with people from all walks of life to capture powerful stories about why people want the Australian Government to act, and show just how many of us care.

Together, we urge all Members and Senators in the Australian Parliament to:

  • Power our communities and transport with clean energy. Replace coal and gas with renewable energy in the next decade.
  • Send our sunshine around the world with clean energy exports like green hydrogen, steel and aluminium.
  • Save our big backyard. Protect and restore our forests, wetlands and mangroves for our climate and for the animals that call them home.

I want a healthier planet as there is no planet B and I want to look after our native flora and fauna.

We need to protect and grow biodiversity within our struggling ecology. We can do this by planting native plants; protecting and growing habitat links; joining forces with other groups to build and recover more sustainable forests and wetlands. At all costs, we need to avoid temperature rises above 1.5 degrees to ensure the survival of our planet. Remove all fossil fuels from Australia. Should we lobby the big fossil fuel baddies or target their establishments….

We live on this land, without proper and balanced interactions with flora and fauna around us, we will pillage the planet of what keeps us going on it. Without trees we have no oxygen, without bees we have less pollinated plant life which means less crops for us

I want to leave a livable world behind for future generations; so I want the government to follow the science on the environment and climate. Government must come up with an ambitious REAL plan, not the current scam.

Our collective future depends on us starting the transition to a low-carbon world now, and making it happen this decade. Not giving more excuses to continue using and exporting coal and gas. The safety of Australians is so much more important than the profits of vested interests, and a limited (overstated) number of jobs in one sector.

All the available scientific evidence shows that it is essential for world leaders & their communities to address Climate Change. The Australian government is not doing enough. Please face reality & stop playing politics.

Making choices on an individual level to consume less, recycle & repair, live more sustainably, educate oneself to the issues behind negative changes to the climate and the multiple impacts is important, but it’s not enough… policy makers, big business and politicians need to act now to turn the juggernaut around by taking action: it’s about survival.
