We depend on nature and at ACF (Australian Conservation Foundation), we are working to Save Our BIG Backyard.  The loss of nature in our cities and regional areas is also making people vulnerable to dangerous heat waves and extreme weather events.

Australia is in the midst of an extinction crisis. Globally, more than one million species are now at risk of extinction. This not only threatens many beautiful, rare and unique plants and animals. It ultimately threatens human survival.

As you are probably aware, Koalas have recently been declared as endangered. The Koala population in the Campbelltown area, in south-western Sydney, is the only healthy, chlamydia-free and growing koala population in NSW. However it is under great threat from housing developments by Lendlease.

Join us for a bushwalk and meet with Dr Mike Freelander MP, Federal Member for Macarthur to help protect nature, culture and people.

WHEN:  Wednesday, 6 July, 10am

WHERE:  1 Art Gallery Road
Campbelltown NSW 2560

Meeting with Dr Freelander MP is at 1pm.  We will have lunch after the bushwalk.
