Do you like walking in the bush but wish you knew more about the plants and animals around you? Or maybe you don't go walking often (or at all) and you're not sure where to go..

Manly Warringah War Memorial State Park is a precious area of urban bushland and rich in biodiversity. There are lots of easy to follow trails around Manly Dam, with so many beautiful plants and animals along the way. The Save Manly Dam Catchment Committee has set up an iNaturalist project to collect data on the species around Manly Dam to help conserve and protect them, and they need as many people involved as possible!

Join us for this introductory session to the iNaturalist project where we'll help you download and sign up for the application and teach you how to use it. Then we'll go on a guided walk on one of the tracks around the dam and show you how to identify certain species. We'll finish with a supplied lunch!

The details
