But the once-in-a-decade review of those laws has found that nature in Australia is in big trouble. Australia has one of the worst extinction records on Earth, and even our most iconic wildlife like the koala and platypus are at risk in some states.
The independent reviewer, Professor Graeme Samuel, recommends a complete overhaul of our national environment laws to protect our country’s unique places, plants, animals and ecosystems for future generations.

The DPI have poisoned all the wild bees in this area. Willawarrin. I have noticed a impact on all bees. We now have nearly no bees where I once had many thousands. Please stop them poisoning in this natural area.

Our poor world is suffering because of us
We are losing species at an alarming rate and the lack of concern from those in power, when it comes to making a decision that errs on the side of money, instead of conserving an ecosystem that can never be rebuilt as we erode habitats, species and natural resources makes me ashamed to be an Australian. Please take this seriously, this is our nation’s and our era’s legacy and we are decimating the heritage of those that come after us!
