Community Conversations Workshop

People power changes the world. Connecting our community to the issues we care about is fundamental to all forms of advocacy, whether that be through building relationships or persuading and inspiring people to take action. To build a community where people and nature thrive, we need to have purposeful and effective conversations with our communities to build power and inspire change.

ACF invites you to attend our community conversations workshop on Saturday May 18th. During the course of this workshop you will learn how to:

• How to have a relational conversation to build power in your community 
• How to have a persuasive conversation to deploy power in your community 
• How we these conversational skills can be applied to local issues such as building community demands for co-ownership of renewables developments, jobs guarantees, and protecting nature. 

All are welcome to come along, meet like-minded people and learn the skills that will make a difference in our communities. Light refreshments will be provided.
