Climate Action Meetup - Helensvale

Join ACF Community Burleigh Heads for a short presentation on the impact climate change is having on our planet and the importance of community action. We will then invite you to join us for the Global Climate Strike on the 20th September in Broadbeach.

ACF is joining the the Global Strike here on the Gold Coast and we ask you to be a part of a global movement, calling on our collective governments to take a meaningful plan for climate action to the UN Climate Action Summit being held on 23rd September in New York.

This massive, student-led movement is building power around the world, and the students are asking all of us to stand with them on 20 September for a day of high-impact global action.

This evening will be family friendly and will finish by 8pm. Please join us to learn how to make your voice count, times like this call for as many voices as possible.

ACF Community Burleigh Heads is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
