ACF Community Chisholm will be having its monthly meeting on Wednesday, 21 April, and you're invited!

Join our monthly action group meeting – talk with like minded people and plan what we will be doing to combat the climate crisis and bring about a fair and just diversification to a carbon neutral Australia.

This meeting will be our first in-person monthly meeting for the year! At our regular pre-Covid venue, the Box Hill Library.

We will be discussing actions that we can take within our community to increase understanding and actions in response to the Climate Crisis and what our group can do locally to advocate the importance of acting on climate change. Your enthusiasm and ideas for involvement in the group are welcome!

We will continue with our work on building alliances with prominent groups in the community and how they can work with us to promote the ACF Recovery Campaign.
Further to our recent workshop on Developing Group Norms (7 April) for Chisholm, we will discuss the draft norms.

Please observe the COVID safe conditions which the Library has notified:

  • Due to social distancing requirements the limit for the room is 14 people. So it is essential to RSVP in advance to ensure we don't exceed the room limit.
  • As usual we will be recording attendee names which will be provided to the library if an outbreak occurs.
  • In addition we all must sign in to the meeting room QR code and use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the room.
  • We will need to maintain a social distance of 1.5 metres, otherwise a face mask must be worn.

Please bring your own drinks and snacks as we can't use the kitchen crockery and cutlery at present.

Hope to see you then!

ACF Community Chisholm is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
