Calling all people who want to help solve the climate crisis and protect our nature and wildlife!

Are you feeling inspired to take action and pressure our government to take positive climate action? Are you a bit unsure where to start?

Join us in for an interactive training on the fundamentals of community organising at Activate Richmond!

Change happens when people get engaged and come together to shape the world they want to see. People power can raise our government’s ambition for real, long-lasting outcomes for climate and nature.

We’re inviting you to build the skills and connections your community needs to speak out for the places we love, build power locally and create positive change with local and national impacts.

What is Activate Richmond?

Activate Richmond will bring together anyone who cares for our environment and climate crisis to discuss, exchange ideas and collaborate to find better solutions. Everyone has valuable experiences, knowledge, and skills in a variety of fields. These differences are the diverse assets required for building people's power, enacting powerful changes, and collaborating to combat the climate crisis. In the Activate Richmond training, we will explore how we can draw upon our own experiences and expertise to help organise our communities and build power locally to help create effective actions that can create change.
