ACF Community Central

Hi All

The Castlemaine Branch of ACF Community Central proposes to have a gathering on Monday 12 December from 6:00 pm to 8.00 pm, to be held at the New Northern Arts Hotel, Castlemaine. The bar will be open if you wish to purchase drinks and we will arrange some nibbles.

An agenda will be forwarded in due course. 

We have arranged to open the event with Josh Meadows, Media Advisor for the ACF. He will give a brief overview of ACF upcoming events and introduce our guest speak, Professor David Lindemayer who will be connected by zoom link. Professor Lindemayer will provide a stimulating talk on forest ecology and climate change.  We hope to follow with a Q&A session.

At the meeting we would like to introduce the concept of Wilderhoods, developed by ecologist Cassia Read, Co-founder Ecology Education and Resilient Landscapes (Castlemaine Institute). We are hoping to guage if there is interest in the Castlemaine and Bendigo community.
