Welcome to our first Official Planning Day for 2020 with Brisbane South & Logan!
This planning meeting is for ALL our members. If you've not yet had a chance to find a way to work with us yet, be sure to join us. At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to find ways to take action with us in a way that best suits you! You will also get to meet new & existing members, and help us create a vision for our group for 2020. We need your fresh ideas to successfully grow our community, and to truly take meaningful actions as we strive to do our part to tackle climate change and move the country to a future powered by clean renewable energy. Our ACF Community Organiser Jude will be joining us on the day, so you will have a chance to ask her in person any questions you may have about the ACF's strategies, goals and how the organisation works.
Be sure to join us: we promise you a welcoming, safe and friendly space. You are welcome to bring friends along.

ACF Brisbane South & Logan Planning Day 2020
Where: Garden City Library, Garden City Shopping Centre, Cnr Kessels and Logan Rd, Upper Mount Gravatt
When: Sunday, February 23, 12pm to 4pm
What to bring: Yourself, enthusiasm & any ideas you may have. And a plate of finger food to share for lunch would be great :)
Why we need you...
It has been a terrible summer of fire, smoke and dust. Our young people fear this is the ``new normal'' and are angry at our politicians for not doing enough to safeguard their future. The time for action is now. And the only way to create change is through people power! We all need to take a stand to ensure a safer tomorrow for us all. Over the past three years, we have run market stalls, film nights, divestment talks and nature walks, joined protests, written letters and met with MPs. These activities have been valuable but we need to do more. That is why we need your input. And enjoy the company of a group of people who want to make a difference!
So be sure to register & join us!
