‘Yes to Renewables!’ Wollongong family fun day

ACF Community Illawarra invites you and your family to join us for a ‘Yes to Renewables!’ community fun day to celebrate the future of the Illawarra!  

On Sunday 4 of February at 11AM, ACF Community Illawarra will be joining other local groups including Friends of the Earth and Hi Neighbour to say a resounding “YES!” to renewable energy here in the Illawarra.  

We love the Illawarra. It is because we love our region that we know upgrading to a renewable energy-powered network is critical for a brighter future.  

Renewable power in the Illawarra means: 

• sustainable energy so that businesses can stay here, and we can start new clean industries of the future. 
• jobs for local workers, so young people can continue to call the region home.  
• a safe climate for us all, so that our families, rivers, forests and wildlife can continue to thrive here for generations to come.   

We need to proudly, loudly celebrate our vision for a renewable-powered future for the Illawarra. So, we’re asking you to show up, with all your joy, heart, and community spirit.  

On the day you can expect:  

• Arts and crafts  
• Music 
• Food and drinks - including free icecream for kids!  
• And more!  

So, will you join us to celebrate our wonderful community, and say YES to a renewable-powered future for the Illawarra?
