HISTORICAL MESSAGE: As Australians prepare to cast their votes in the upcoming federal election, it’s vital we hear from our local candidates on the issues that matter most — like affordable clean energy, climate action, and the preservation of nature.

The seat of Monash covers much of West and South Gippsland, and the Bass Coast. This forum will be held online, hosted by the Australian Conservation and The Climate Council.

What: Monash Candidates' Forum, organised by ACF and our partners at the Climate Council
When: Wednesday, 16 April at 7.30pm
Duration: One hour
Where: Online via Zoom — RSVP now to get the link

Who’s confirmed:

  • Deb Leonard – Independent candidate

  • Terence Steele – Greens candidate

Who’s unconfirmed:

  • Russel Broadbent – Independent Member for Monash

  • Tully Fletcher – Labor candidate

  • Mary Aldred – Liberal candidate.

Let’s get the ear of our candidates. Let’s show up to show them that the community they want to represent demands urgent action to stop extinctions and climate devastation.
