About Natalie

An award-winning author, environmentalist, presenter, and charity director, Natalie’s credentials speak for themselves. She was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia and the Forbes 30 Under 30 Honour for her services to wildlife and environmental conservation in 2018. She was a United Nations Environment Programme Young Champion of the Earth Finalist, named one of LinkedIn's 2022 'Top Green Voices', and recognised as one of The Australian's 2022 'Top Innovators'. But beyond the accolades, Natalie is a master at communicating the importance of nature as something not just ‘nice to have’, but as a force that has shaped civilisations, culture and society.

In her bestselling book, Nature’s Last Dance, Natalie delves into the heart of nature’s battle to survive that is being played out across hunting grounds, jungles and oceans, and inside communities and courtrooms. It’s a story of wonder and resilience that arrives at a critical moment in Australia’s fight for strong nature laws, offering a hopeful lens with which to view the natural world.

As the founder of My Green World (a social enterprise connecting young Australians with environmental issues that will shape their future) and serving as the Board Director of Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife and CARE Australia, Natalie drives systemic change at the highest levels. Her further roles as a W20 Delegate and UNESCO Green Citizens Pathfinder, plus her seat on the XPRIZE Global Brain Trust for Biodiversity and Conservation have further contributed to her powerful network, positioning her as an incredible addition to ACF’s ambassadorship.

At a time when nature and climate issues face unprecedented pressure, we look forward to joining with Natalie to fight for nature and climate.
