Since the 2019/20 Black Summer bushfires, our governments have handed over $50 billion in public money to support the fossil fuel industry. Dirty coal and gas polluters make mega profits while everyday Australians pick up the bill from climate disasters – from lives lost to holidays cancelled to spiralling insurance, grocery and energy bill costs.

I want Australian to be a renewable powerhouse. Our children, grandchildren, native animals and our environment need to be our top priorities. Stop mining and using coal asap. By the way, nuclear is not the answer, it’s too dangerous, too costly and too late!
Our future and that of the wildlife and landscape depend on it. Without these changes our quality of life will be severely impacted.
There is no doubt that fossil fuel use is causing an environmental crisis.
It is critical that we take drastic steps immediately to cut the emissions and ramp up renewables and storage no matter what it costs.
To delay further will mean the cost is beyond our reach.

I want Australia to end coal & gas because extreme weather is getting worse & it is costing Australians in insurance, nature damage & health. It’s time to just stop!
