Wills Campaign Launch for Nature and Climate!

Join us at Robinson Reserve/Reynard St Neighbourhood House in Coburg for a family-friendly BBQ & picnic to get excited about our federal election campaign in Wills!

We are partnering with local groups Climate Action Merri-Bek, 350.org and the Wills Climate Alliance to make our campaign stronger than ever!

Over the coming months leading into the federal election, ACF Community North by North West and our alliance group partners will be doorknocking, holding stalls, running events, and putting up big and bright signs with powerful messages – saying Yes to Protecting Nature and No New Coal and Gas.

But we can’t do this without a big community of committed volunteers!

Come along on Saturday 15 February from 2pm to:

• find out how you can get involved and help us supercharge our activities here in Wills
• enjoy a free BBQ (with vegetarian & vegan options) for an early dinner, and some icecream for the kids (and young at heart ;)
• keep the kids occupied with face-painting, kids activities and a great playground
• help us lift the ambition of all political candidates on their climate and nature policies
• learn about local groups like ACF Community North by North West, Climate Action Merri-Bek, 350.org and more

Whether you’re a seasoned community volunteer or new to the space, please come along! We’d love for you to also reach out if you’re already part of a community volunteer group, as we’d love to coordinate our efforts and connect.

The park is accessible, there'll be indoor spaces with airconditioning and dogs on leads are welcome!
