On Saturday 5 August ACF will host the first-ever Wild At Art Day thanks to our friends at Melbourne Zoo.

The whole family is invited to tour the zoo* to see some of the threatened species that Zoos Victoria are fighting to protect. Then, take a moment to visit the M-Pavilion near the playground which will be transformed into an Art Hub for the day – with everything you need to paint, draw and write about your chosen threatened species.

Throughout July until Threatened Species Day on Thursday 7 September, children aged 5-12 from across the country are invited to create an original artwork of one of Australia's many threatened native animals or plants for the 2023 Wild At Art threatened species art competition.

Children aged 5-12 can submit their entry on the day to the Wild At Art competition for the chance to win amazing prizes.

Join us at Melbourne Zoo to see your favourite animals and create some winning art!

*Entry fees apply, children 4-15 years free on weekends
