ACF Macnamara in partnership with Westgate Biodiversity are holding a morning planting activity in the beautiful Westgate Park, Port Melbourne. 
 
With Coronavirus restrictions now easing, we can now finally reconnect with local community members, friends and family who share our love for nature! 
 
This is a family event. Westgate Park is a nature reserve. We ask that you please leave your family dog at home for this event.   

Schedule
10:30 am                  Volunteers meet at the car park (directions below) for an introduction to the planting activity and safety briefing. 
 
11:00 am – 1:00 pm  Planting activity. 
 
What to Bring
Don’t forget a hat, sunscreen, water bottle and gardening gloves (extra gloves will be available). We ask that children over 12 years and adults please bring a face mask. This would only be required to be worn if a situation arises where social distancing is not possible. 
 
All other equipment is provided.

Westgate Park - the Todd Road car park (which is next to Salt Water Lake).

Getting there by bus 
The Sunday bus service #235 runs every hour. Alight at the terminus on Wharf Road, Port Melbourne. Cross the railway line and follow the sign to the BBQ area. The Todd Road Car Park is 75 metres from the BBQ area.

Coronavirus 
This event is capped at 50 attendees in line with the  Victorian Government 's current coronavirus restrictions. 

A face mask must be worn by all Victorians when they leave home, unless they have a lawful reason not to wear one or are outside and can keep 1.5 metres distance.
