Join ACF Bayside and the Toondah Alliance for the Welcome Back Shorebirds Festival.
The Celebrity MC for the day is Hannah Moloney, as seen on Gardening Australia, who will guide us through the day’s fun activities.
The kids will be entertained all afternoon with great activities and parents can enjoy hearing a range of interesting speakers, explore the marquee displays and enjoy great music from renowned First Nations singer/song writer Joe Geia and talented local musicians Chuck's Blues Wagon, Clara Durbidge, and other entertaining performers.
At 1pm we launch the festival with a “Welcome to County” by Uncle Norman Enoch Quandamooka Elder. Followed by a traditional First Nations Smoking Ceremony by Matt Burns.
The free family-day fun includes; Beako the huge puppet, yummy food vans, juggling/acrobatics, art and craft activities, photo booth, bird watching experience, competitions with prizes and more!
Bring a picnic rug and/or chair to relax. As its October remember to bring a hat and sun protection.
Catch a free shuttle bus to the event from the Cleveland Train Station!
