Advocating for nature can take many forms, from signing petitions and writing letters, to meeting with MPs and attending rallies, there are many ways we can speak up for the places we care about. However, its important that we also remember to connect with the issues we care about and help other people do the same, and what better way is there to do that then through a bushwalk!
On Sunday 12 May ACF Community Richmond will be walking the Rayners Walking Track and you're invited! This will be a great opportunity to get some steps in, meet like-minded people, and familiarise yourself with the local nature that we will be advocating strongly for as we fight for strong nature laws. If you're someone who's already on board, this will be a great opportunity to bring a friend or family member who is waiting for the right event to get involved, if you're not familiar with the group and our fight for strong nature laws, come on down and hear a bit more about it.
All are welcome to attend. We will be meeting at Rayners Track trail head and from there we will set off on our bushwalk. The walking is estimated to take about 1-1.5hrs depending on the pace we decide to take on the day. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch, otherwise we hope to see you there!
