Climate damage is the biggest challenge of our time.

It's here, now, harming the people we love. Fuelling reef bleaching, bushfires, heatwaves and drought. And it’s getting worse.

We are living in an era that demands courage and action.

So let's get on with it.

Sign the petition and we will tally up the numbers in each electorate to show the parties just how many climate voters there are.

If you want my vote, you must: Stop Adani’s polluting mine, end digging and burning coal, and switch to 100% clean energy.

We need a carbon tax. Equipment manufacturers all have zero emission technologies ready to go, or not far away.
How can this country still have absolutely zero emission regulations for industrial engines. That’s right, tier zero!!! No laws to protect the atmosphere at all. Mining companies control the legislation.
They don’t want to have to buy new engines.

I want to see secure jobs growth and a government supporting investment in the clean energy industry, stop supporting fossil fuel companies with my tax dollars.

Talk is cheap. Show you mean it. All pre election promises should be a law of commitment overseen by the governor general. Australia has no confidence in our embarrassing parliament.

Our pro-tem P.M. has spruiked that Australia is on track to meet its Paris agreement and that, anyway our contribution to the World CO2 emissions is less than 2%, so it really doesn’t matter. This is wrong on both counts. He can only claim it because we never include in our responsibility the enormous amount of coal we export to be burnt elsewhere. But that is our responsibility and when added in we make a massive contribution to the world’s emissions. Indeed, if the Carmichael mine goes ahead the amount that will be released when it is burnt will GUARANTEE that the global temperature goes above 4°C and stays there for at least a century. At this temperature the World will probably be uninhabitable for people, let alone civilization as we know it today. If we allow Adani – and Rinehart and Palmer who are lining up to follow – to take this coal out of the ground we will be committing a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY. The pollies of all three major parties are wrong and the young people are right; all power to them.

As we continue to increase CO2 and the A’s As Earth continues to heat Mr Morrison refuses to join with a large part of the world in decarbonising our energy, transport manufacturing, mining and agriculture.
Misrepresenting the progress made, taking credit and deriding those states taking leadership
Then to learn that you have allocated money to Rio Tinto from the Emission Reduction Fund to switch from burning oil to burning diesel leaves me speechless.
The current Goverment shows both environmental and economic irresponsibility in ignoring the advice of scientists OEMO economists.
California has set the goal of 100% renewable sources to the electricity grid by 2045
They have a vision. With our government we are destined to plod our way through the past.
