Climate damage is the biggest challenge of our time.

It's here, now, harming the people we love. Fuelling reef bleaching, bushfires, heatwaves and drought. And it’s getting worse.

We are living in an era that demands courage and action.

So let's get on with it.

Sign the petition and we will tally up the numbers in each electorate to show the parties just how many climate voters there are.

If you want my vote, you must: Stop Adani’s polluting mine, end digging and burning coal, and switch to 100% clean energy.

As a doctor and a grandfather I am pleading that our policy makers take climate change seriously to avoid the even worse effects to come.

I propose a project for environmentally conscious people and organisations. It’s inspired by the ‘Hall of Fame’ displays that you’ll see in one town or another, commemorating the contributions of noteworthy individuals.
My proposal is for a ‘Hall of Shame’. There should ideally be one in every community. On display in these halls should be statues, video footage and photos of every politician and industrialist who has, not so much contributed towards global warming, but who continued to do so after the science became irrefutable. Every politician whose portfolio gave them the power to combat climate change but failed to do so. Every politician who had the opportunity to vote for renewable energy projects but instead opted for coal, oil and gas. I want these halls to be available to schools, so that kids can be walked through them and taught who is responsible for our extremes of weather events today and ongoing, into the future.

The people of Australia have spoken, it is governments responsibility to make changes and better policy that will nurture our planet country and further limit our footprint.

Anyone casting a vote, for anyone running for a political office, should make sure they want to work for a climate change solution. This should be your absolute number one choice in voting.

If we don’t act and put our climate first, then everything we are doing today – raising families, educating ourselves, caring – it will all be for nothing. There will be no world. I vote for climate action!
