VIC ACF Community groups - Spring training day

This is our second ACF Community training day for 2018!

Come along to meet other groups, get the tools and skills to 'tune up' your ACF Community group, and learn best practice for the core tactics of the federal election campaign.

Results of the ACF Community group survey

• Make sure you get your submission in!

Group skills

• Check in on group culture and 'strong teams' framework
• Recruitment and retention - finding new group members and hanging on to the existing ones!
• Spreading the work sustainably - roles and delegation

Tactic training breakout

• How to run a calling party
• How to run a doorknock

Communications and promoting group activities

• Using Action Centre to list events
• How to write a good mass SMS (and send it in Action Centre)
• How to write a good email (and send it in Action Centre)

We'll provide lunch and snacks, and there'll be time to reconnect and get to know each other better too.

We are aiming for 2-3 core volunteers from each group to attend. So please make sure that other core members of your ACF Community group are invited!
