Join Rosemary and the Portland Coastal Cliffs group for a tree-planting day and easy walk to explore the beach and surrounds, connecting with nature and meeting others in the ACF community!

Rosemary leads Portland Coastal Cliffs, a group of locals who are interested in preserving the precious coastline and creating a beautiful space for locals and visitors to enjoy. They aim to restore the indigenous plants that once grew on the cliffs and to reduce the pest plant numbers.

Meet the group on Sunday 11 August, 2pm at Nuns Beach, Portland (between the stairs and car park, near the stormwater drain). This will be a working bee to plant native species along this area of the beach, in order to stabilise the cliffs and promote habitat for local birds and mammals, including small wallabies.

Portland Coastal Cliffs will provide some snacks and refreshments, and you'll have a chance to ask questions about the wildlife in the area, or go on a walk along the beach if you like. See you there!

This is an independently organised event run by volunteers in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
