People are coming together at a massive rally in Sydney CBD to show our elected representatives that we choose clean air, clean water and clean energy instead of dirty coal and gas.
When it comes to clean energy, New South Wales is lagging way behind some other states like Victoria, South Australia and Queensland. We have the most people and use the most energy, so this needs to change – fast!
At the next state election, our state will be at a crossroads. One path will lead us deeper into a dangerous climate damaged by dirty coal and gas. The other will lead to clean air, clean water and clean energy.
One year out from the state election, it’s our time to choose.
The march will be a colourful, family-friendly event, with people from all walks of life coming together in a vibrant and united display of people power. The march will be led by First Nations people followed by country riders on horseback, walking from NSW Parliament to Prince Alfred Park.
Join the march on March 24. When thousands of us do it together, it’s a lot less lonely on the climate campaign front.
This event is independently hosted by our ally Nature Conservation Council of NSW.
