The South Australian Blue Carbon Ecosystem Restoration Project

A limited number of ACF supporters are welcome to Thompson Beach Progress Association who are privileged to welcome nationally and internationally renowned expert on coastal ecosystem ecology Professor Sabine Dittmann Sunday March 24th 2024 at 12:30 pm Thompson Beach Hall for a presentation and question and answer session.

Professor Dittmann and her research team are going to introduce The South Australian Blue Carbon Ecosystem Restoration Project which is located along the samphire coast of Gulf St Vincent, and one of five projects under Australia’s Blue Carbon program.

This research project will provide a comprehensive set of data and knowledge on the ecology of the coastal ecosystems in Gulf St Vincent
