Please listen and act decisively so my grandkids can live in a world which still has amazing biodiversity, healthy populations of wildlife, an abundance of pristine waterways, clean artesian basins, clean air for viewing the stars, and a glorious and vibrant Great Barrier Reef.

Approving new gas and coal at this time is irresponsible madness that is flushing our children’s futures down the drain.

The highest priority for Labour needs to be tacking climate change, deforestation, and protecting what is left of the natural world. Labour was voted in on the understanding this would happen. They will be voted out unless visible, immediate and meaningful action takes place NOW.

We need stronger laws to protect nature and our natural environments. Australia is a world leader in extinctions. This is shameful and must stop. Laws that protect nature and enforcement of these laws is needed NOW.
