Join us for a pleasant Spring afternoon walk on Sunday 6th October with Rod Orr, member of Bendigo Field Naturalist Club, formerly at Latrobe University in Environmental Studies, and long-time observer of local indigenous flora. We’ll be walking through part of the Crusoe- No 7 Park on the southern outskirts of Bendigo and under Rod’s expert guidance we’ll be learning about localised habitat - indigenous plants, flowers and orchids. There will be plenty of time to take photographs and learn from our guest expert.
We’ll meet at 2pm at the picnic shelter at No 7 Park carpark and return at 4pm. This 2-hour walk is suitable for family groups and there will be options for people to cut the walk short if needed. BYO snacks and drinks.
Dress for the weather forecast and don’t forget your hats and sunscreen. Bring binoculars and cameras.
Please RSVP here so we know who is coming. You will get an email confirming your booking, with details of the specific starting point. (Email’s Subject: RSVP Confirmation ACF Central Victoria Spring Wildflower Walk from ACF [email protected])
Friends, family and community members are welcome, but each person needs to register individually.
If you’re needing a lift, please phone Marie on 043888983.
