ACF NxNW and ACF Inner Melbourne SPRING NATURE WALK FOR MEMBERS

Join in with other members of ACF NxNW and ACF Inner Melbourne in an easy, slow,immersive walk in local nature along the Merri Creek.With the guidance and enthusiasm of experienced guides, we will discover surprising habitats of native animal species and impressive examples of the success and challenges in the restoration of native vegetation in an urban environment.

Approximate length of walk 3 km. Mostly flat,easy walking but it's a shared path so remaining alert to cyclists and runners required. 

Dress for the weather and UV rating,BYO water,walking shoes recommended.

A friendly cuppa and homemade Anzac biscuits will reward us at the end! 

MEET at The Harry Atkinson Art and Craft Centre-next to the toilets.

Please be ready for a punctual start at 10 am.

The walk will end at Murray Rd Nth Coburg.

You can return to the Lake Grove carpark via the same path OR a lift back to the carpark may be possible.

Public transport can be accessed by walking approx 1km to Sydney Rd trams and the nearby Batman Station. Please note buses replace trains on the Upfield line that weekend.
