Siemens is a global brand and is very sensitive to public criticism.

Comment on any Siemens’ post, asking them to rule out working with Adani (the post where Siemens shares their dream to 'make cities more livable, industry more efficient and society more sustainable' would be a good one to comment on – that vision doesn’t align with supporting coal projects, does it?!)

Tips for your Facebook comment:

  • Keep it short and punchy – people (including from Siemens!) are more likely to read a shorter post than a really long one
  • Have a clear ask – ask Siemens to rule out working with Adani
  • Make it personal – after all, this is your message to Siemens! Make it unique to you. You might want to share why you care about stopping projects that will fuel climate damage, like Adani, and protecting our planet

Australia is burning! Please be on the right side of history and withdraw your support of Adani coal mine. We are horrified at your decision to go ahead!

Siemens, I love our country and the wonderful and completely individual biodiversity we have. The environment of Australia can’t be replaced and we desperately need to change the way our country works.
Please do not continue to consider working with Adani, our country can’t be saved once it burns to ash.

As a German living in Australia I am appalled to think that a well respected Company like Siemens
would support Adani and fuel climate damage.
Where are your morals!

This project jepodises our water table, natural environment on land and in the oceans as well as adds to the climate emissions. Please show your an ethical company by not supporting this Adani project. They also have horrific human rights abuse history in India and we don’t want them in Australia

I just commented, from a personal viewpoint too (my 70 year old husband out fighting bushfires etc) and reproached Siemens for NOT acting in accordance with “sustainability” and “community”, and for causing further damage to Australia and the world.

There is no such thing as ‘clean coal’. Siemens is focusing on short term financial gain, and not long term sustainability for Australia and her people.
