Join us for a walk in the Whipstick, within the Greater Bendigo National Park, and enjoy the delights of the box-ironbark and mallee bushland in Spring.  The wildflowers are blooming and the walk will take us past some interesting historic remnants of the 1850s gold rush.

We will start from Shadbolts Picnic Area, taking the Old Tom Mine Walk, an easy 5.5km return walk.  If time allows, we will then do the 1.1km circuit walk to Flagstaff Hill.

We’ll meet at Shadbolts Picnic Area.  Wear sturdy footwear, suitable clothing, bring drinking water and protect yourself from sun, mosquitos, wind and rain.

The walk will take approximately 2 hours. It is an easy walk, mostly flat, with just a couple of hills.

Please RSVP here and include your phone number.  You will get an email confirming your booking, with details of specific starting point.  (Email’s Subject: RSVP Confirmation ACF Bendigo District September Bushwalk from ACF [email protected])

If you RSVP, we will also have an idea of how many are coming so we don't leave you behind if you are running late!

Hope to see you there :-)
